Prompt your audience into taking action. Try these call to action tips to increase conversion rate.

1. Set your goal

Set an objective on what you want for your readers or audience. Have the call to action phrases included in your content like Sign up for your newsletter? Download your e-book?

2. Use powerful language

Start your CTAs with a strong command such as: buy, download, or subscribe. Try to persuade as well with words like: free, new, bonus, because, immediately and you.

3. Arouse emotion

Tapping into the emotions of customers and audiences is very important in trying to get through sales copywriting including CTAs. Target their enthusiasm and curiosity to get their commitment.

To get your audience to react to their excitement, paint a perfect picture or what if they follow your CTA. For travel and leisure business, "Book your dream vacation now" could be a good CTA.

Arousing curiosity could be found in this CTA - "See how easy our software really is." Present a situation in which the audience must find and know.

4. Offer a reason

List the benefits that you can request from them. This is one way of presenting the uniqueness and importance of your product or service. You may follow a three-step process that includes: presenting a problem, aggravating the problem and offering a solution on your CTA. An example would be: Running late? There's too much traffic on the road. Take a ride on our cabs and get to your destination fast.

5. Create urgency

Create a sense of urgency with your CTA. However, you need to deliver what you promise. Do not make promises that you can not keep. If instant gratification is not possible do not promise it or else it could be bad for your fire.

6. Put an emphasis on FOMO and the urge to belong

Take advantage of the fact that people want to belong to a community or have fears or missing out on something. These two main reasons can be effective motivators for CTAs. People who want to be able to do so.

7. Be clear and concise

Be clear, concise and precise with your words. Try not to use flowery or extensive explanations which can cause misunderstanding or cause your audience to get lost. Be creative but also clear what you want for your audience.

Use these tips and get your CTAs working for you.
